- Viva La Cultura! Club, a cultural pride, literacy and
mentorship program;
- Jovenes Latinos Pro Salud Career Exploration Initiative
(JLPS/CEI), a distinctive program that combines work-site experience and
classroom instruction to provide an integrated approach to academic, life,
and employment skills development specifically serving at-risk Latino youth;
- Boston Tobacco Advocacy Project (B-TAP) a youth community-organizing
group working to restore funding for youth-led tobacco prevention programming
through rigorous minority youth-led community-organizing and policy advocacy;
- Mission Enrichment Program (MEP), which provides comprehensive
support to Latino and other disadvantaged youth with the goal of helping
them to achieve academic success;
- Community Computer Literacy/Education, a small computer
lab open to the entire community that offers drop-in hours and computer
literacy classes;
- Evening Tutorial where youth ages 14 and older can receive
one-on-one help with homework, SAT, MCAS and GED college application, financial
aid and scholarship assistance as well as join the Literacy Club that focuses
on increasing the spelling, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking skills
of youth;
